Over the course of fourteen years, Armando Ramos Sr., president of Grupo Constructor RAM, often flew from Mexico City to San Diego. Alejandro Betancourt, president and CEO of ABA Corporation partnered with Armando Ramos 14 years ago when Ramos shared his vision of Baja Diamante with him. As Chairman of the Board and Executive Vice President of the largest banking group in Latin America, Betancourt recognized the tremendous potential in the project. Betancourt was a Member of the Board for nine banks and numerous stock-exchange institutions and investment companies. As Treasury Vice President of Banco Nacional de Mexico, Betancourt was also responsible for major operations within the bank.
